A photo captures the first fully formed arch of Downtown Miami’s Signature Bridge, currently under construction. Recently, the top of the arch was poured, with forms now removed to reveal the structure’s elegant shape.
As part of this ambitious project, six distinctive arches are being constructed as a design feature adjacent to the overpasses traversing Miami’s urban core. These arches will vary in height, ranging from 180 feet to 330 feet above ground, creating a striking visual landmark for the city.
In addition to the architectural marvel of the arches, the project includes a comprehensive rebuild of the I-95 highway interchange, intersecting with I-395 and the 836 expressway. This extensive infrastructure upgrade comes with an estimated total cost of $840 million, with completion projected for late 2027.
