Miami Tops List as a Preferred Destination for Centi-Millionaires
Miami continues to be a magnet for individuals with high net worth, according to a new report by New World Wealth and Henley & Partners. The city has been named the leading “holiday hotspot” for those with over $100 million in liquid investable wealth, with more than 650 centi-millionaires owning either primary or secondary residences in the area.
South Florida remains a key draw for this elite group beyond Miami itself. Palm Beach and West Palm Beach collectively account for over 400 centi-millionaires, while Boca Raton hosts more than 150, and Fort Lauderdale has over 100. This widespread appeal highlights the region’s status as a luxury hub for wealthy individuals seeking desirable real estate investments.
While Miami tops the list for vacation homes, New York City continues to lead the rankings for full-time wealthy residents, boasting 744 centi-millionaires who call the city home year-round.
Miami’s allure, coupled with the broader South Florida region’s popularity among affluent individuals, solidifies the area’s reputation as a haven for the ultra-wealthy.
